The mind thinks in visuals. We made them findable.
MemeStack is a searchable image gallery for memes, infographics, charts, and visual content.
What it is
Every image uploaded to MemeStack is automatically analyzed by a vision AI to produce a human-readable caption, structured topic tags, and full OCR extraction of any text in the image. That metadata is indexed and searchable. When you need that one chart that explains Xor that meme about Y, MemeStack is the search engine you want.
Search is unified. A single query runs semantic similarity (AI vector embeddings) plus keyword matching across captions, alt text, OCR, and tags. Inflation explained finds a chart that never uses those exact words. HODL finds the meme. 21 million finds both.
Lightning-ranked
Images are ranked by Lightning Network zaps — Bitcoin micropayments sent by users to signal that an image is useful, accurate, or genuinely funny. A higher zap count means the community has voted with money rather than thumbs. The leaderboard is at /leaderboard.
What fits
MemeStack is a library of self-sufficient visual content — images that communicate a complete idea, joke, or argument on their own. Filled meme templates with punchlines, editorial cartoons, infographics, charts, multi-panel comparisons, diagrams, screenshots that make a point. The kind of image you'd send to a friend to settle a debate or explain a concept.
It's not a stock photo site, a personal album, or a gallery for pretty pictures. Generic landscapes, food photos, AI fantasy without commentary, blank meme templates, and uncaptioned reaction faces don't fit — those are raw material, not finished content. Same for personal data: birth charts, horoscopes, family photos, selfies.
Topic-agnostic: Bitcoin, politics, science, sports, history, philosophy — any subject is welcome. Only NSFW, gore, and spam are blocked (see terms).
For developers + AI agents
All read endpoints are public — no authentication required. See the API docs. There's also an MCP server at mcp.memestack.ai for AI agents that want native tool access.
